Free habit stacking planner

Give your new habit a place to land

Attach one tiny action to something you already do. This planner turns the pair into a cue you can remember—and a card you can keep punching.

Build your stack

Choose a reliable anchor, then make the new action deliberately small.

How it works

What is habit stacking?

Habit stacking means using a behavior that already happens as the reminder for a new behavior. Instead of asking yourself to remember a floating intention—“I should read more”—you give it a specific home: “After I pour my morning coffee, I will read one page.”

Choose an anchor that is already reliable

Strong anchors are concrete and easy to notice: turning off your alarm, putting your lunch plate in the sink, opening your laptop, or plugging in your phone. A vague time such as “sometime after work” makes a weak cue because the moment is hard to recognize.

Start below your ambition

The first version should feel almost too easy. One page can grow into a chapter. Two minutes of stretching can grow into a full mobility routine. The tiny version protects the cue-action connection on busy days; you can always continue when energy is high.

Keep the stack visible

Turn the action into a Punchcard and add it to your iPhone home screen. Every repetition becomes one satisfying punch.
